Job description

Evertz USA, Inc. is seeking a few Production Assembly/Test Technicians whose primary duties will include providing support in Assembly and Test departments including pre-commissioning of server customer related products in accordance with company standards.

Additional Duties:

  • Technicians will be required to customize server hardware by assembling hardware, loading and configuring software, testing, and validating Microsoft Windows based servers.
  • Server based assembly, configuration, software installation, testing validation.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting server related products using automated test equipment as part of the pre-commissioning.
  • Perform product testing using test programs/scripts based on test automation server racks to validate full module functionality.
  • Perform other related duties as requested, directed or assigned. May work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in computer networking or related computer-based field and/or a minimum of four years of work-related experience.
  • Prior computer networking, personal computer hardware and troubleshooting experience or education required.
  • Ability to read technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision. Must occasionally work extended hours, including weekends.
  • Work requires great attention to detail with a focus on networking configurations of hardware, feature sets and licenses, quality and time management.
  • Must possess US Citizenship.
  • Valid US Passport is an asset.

Position is a full-time, in-person, day position, Monday to Friday.
