Job summary

Arete Associates in Niwot, CO is seeking an Assembly Technician to build optical subassemblies for the AIRTRAC laser. You will follow detailed assembly procedures to produce production-level builds using various tools and epoxy in a cleanroom.

The role requires strong fine motor skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read assembly instructions. You will collaborate with production technicians, engineers and scientists in a team environment.

As an Assembly Technician at Arete, you will be responsible for building optical subassemblies for the AIRTRAC laser. You will follow detailed assembly procedures to produce production-level builds using various tools and epoxy. You will work in a cleanroom setting with a team of production technicians, engineers, and scientists. You will be involved with the handling and cleaning of sensitive and valuable optics. A strong attention to detail and fine motor skills are required. This position requires the use of equipment, such as a multimeter, to measure laser subassembly parameters. This position is based in our Niwot, CO office. This is a non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

The salary for this role is $28.00/hour - $32.00/hour; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
