Job summary

Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies in Roanoke, TX is seeking an Operations Leader to oversee daily assembly line production, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and quality standards are followed. You will lead assembly teams, coordinate with support departments, and support continuous improvements in the production area.

The role includes training and onboarding new technicians, managing time and attendance, and reporting line performance data to guide corrective actions and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on leadership to ensure daily Production goals are met by working with assembly teams to resolve challenges, set goals, improve processes and foster a strong team environment.
• Adhere to all workplace safety rules and promote a safety focused culture.
• Set and adjust sequencing of product for the assembly line based on constraints and business needs.
• Report problems and concerns with safety, quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to the Production Manager and work to resolve them through corrective actions.
• Report and maintain data for assembly line status and performance.
• Perform administrative changes to work orders to support flexible Production needs with accurate records.
• Work with supporting departments to ensure continuous assembly of products.
• Identify, support, and implement continuous improvements to the assembly area.
• Participate in the recruiting and onboarding of new assembly technicians, provide training, and conduct routine performance reviews for team members.
• Manage time & attendance for direct & indirect reports.
