Job summary

Dart Controls in Zionsville, IN is seeking a 1st shift (7am–3:30pm) Production worker for on-site, full-time employment. You will prepare components and PCBs for assembly, insert components, assemble subassemblies, and prepare metal parts for use in finished products.

Responsibilities include following drawings and procedures, ensuring quality and quantity, and tracking materials. Requires HS or equivalent, 1 year manufacturing, basic soldering, and ability to commute.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to commute to Zionsville, IN.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for assembly.
• Insert components and assemble subassemblies.
• Prepare metal parts for use in finished product.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, drawings, and work procedures.
• Accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of work performed.
• Perform basic soldering as needed.
• Track incoming and outgoing materials using computer files or other systems.
• Pack finished products for shipment using the proper materials and procedures.

Job Purpose

To perform any and/or all functions of production, fabrication or shipping operations in accordance with verbal and written instructions and drawings.

Job Responsibility Summary

• Lifting or exerting up to 20 lbs. of weight/force frequently/up to 70 lbs. of weight/force occasionally
