Schwing Bioset Careers

Schwing Bioset, Inc. (headquartered in Somerset, WI) is a pioneer in developing high performance, material handling solutions dedicated to serving the wastewater municipality markets with specialized industrial Screwpress and conveyors in North Branch, MN. Primary responsibility is work as a productive member of the Production team in assembling all parts and equipment necessary to complete production requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assembly of customized project-specific heavy equipment, including but not limited to mechanical & pneumatic systems, and electrical wiring.
  2. Light metal fabrication and welding.
  3. Meet weekly goals and assignments such that production goals are met, and project schedule does not slip.
  4. Understand and follow pneumatic and electrical schematics.
  5. Understand and follow assembly drawings.
  6. Follow established Schwing Bioset assembly practices and procedures.
  7. Follow safe work practices, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  8. Consult needed changes on released equipment with Production Manager or Lead; mark assembly drawings with agreed upon changes made to ensure as-built equipment is documented.
  9. Assist as needed with preparation of production parts and equipment for shipping.
  10. Perform reasonably similar or related duties as instructed by Production Manager and/or Production Lead.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma minimum, but 2-year Tech Degree preferred.
  2. Good work ethic and problem solving; taking pride in your work.
  3. Good mechanical aptitude.
  4. Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  5. Some machining knowledge/background a plus.

Work Hours:

First Shift – standard hours 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Overtime as required/mandated to meet production schedule.

Travel:

Some travel required (25% or less as needed) to assist with in-field installations, start-ups, and service calls.
