Summary

Milgard Windows and Doors is the industry's leader in innovation and quality manufacturing. We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Insulated Glass Production Assembler to join our team, in Tacoma WA. This role is integral to our production process, ensuring the highest quality glass products for our customers. The Insulated Glass Production Assembler is responsible for assembling insulated glass units according to specifications and production requirements. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.

The hourly compensation starts at $22.00. You will work Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 a.m.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble insulated glass units following detailed specifications and production guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain tools and machinery required for glass assembly.
  • Inspect glass units for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle glass and assembly tools safely.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
