Job description

Your day-to-day work may include but is not limited to:
  1. Performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope.
  2. Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line.
  3. Operates standard shop equipment including soldering iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces.
  4. Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units.
  5. Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge.
  6. Weld miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
  7. Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal oversight.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
  1. 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope.
  2. Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
  3. Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.
  4. Good mechanical aptitude.
  5. Good dexterity of hands and eyes.
  6. Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610.
  7. Must be a local candidate.
Personal Skills
  1. Good planning skills and ability to multitask effectively.
Compensation

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
