Summary

Great Opportunity at MI Windows and Doors in Temperance, MI!

Position: Production Assembler - Day Shift

Schedule: Mon-Fri, starting at 6am

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

We are seeking a Production Assembler in Temperance at MI Windows and Doors. The role involves safely and efficiently fabricating and assembling precision-built windows and components within established quality standards. This is a day shift position starting at 6am, with an hourly pay of $18.00.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, using Personal Protective Equipment and adhering to safety procedures.
• Follow quality guidelines and inspect products for defects.
• Meet operational performance standards for each workstation.
• Use hand and power tools, saws, welders, or routers as required.
• Follow oral and written instructions, including reading production paperwork and labels.
• Use measuring tools like tape measures and perform fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate equipment necessary for job functions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Attend work regularly and work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily within established takt times.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Manual dexterity for assembly and machinery operation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving ability with or without instructions.
