Job summary

RealTruck Group is seeking a Production Assembler to join our Michigan manufacturing team. This role focuses on executing assembly tasks per work instructions, while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in a Lean environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and up to 6 months of related experience. This on-site position offers benefits and opportunities to develop precision skills in a fast-paced setting.

Job Overview

The Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality products. Responsible for executing assembly tasks according to the work instructions, this role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Assembler must achieve set production goals, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and leverage Lean manufacturing tools to enhance efficiency.

Compensation

$17.00 and up to start!

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established work instructions to properly assemble products and/or different parts of products.
  • Achieve established goals or deadlines set for specific work areas.
  • Operate required equipment per safety guidelines.
  • Complete all required paperwork and/or data entry.
  • May work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Attendance and dependability are essential job functions. Required to report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 6 months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Supervisor Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Physical Activities

This position is subject to the following physical activities: reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach, performing mechanical or skilled trades’ tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
