Salary: $19.50/hour.

The Production Assembler position is an entry-level role involving rotation across various manufacturing areas to perform different assembly tasks. The role is responsible for assembling various types of assemblies with minimal supervision after proper training, ensuring compliance with standards.

Authority Statement

The Job Title listed empowers the Incumbent with the authority to execute all duties and responsibilities listed below. In case of a conflict of authority, the Incumbent shall escalate to the direct supervisor for resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform electrical/mechanical assembly on components, sub-assemblies, and top-level assemblies following specified procedures and instructions.
  2. Review and interpret general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments; seek clarification when needed.
  3. Layout and wire industrial control panels (back panels and doors).
  4. Interconnect industrial control panels with skid-mounted equipment.
  5. Test control systems.
  6. Provide over-the-phone troubleshooting and customer service.
  7. Meet project completion timelines and shipping schedules.
  8. Maintain a clean and efficient shop and production area.
  9. Understand standard products and assist in assembly tasks.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Ability to read advanced blueprints, schematics, and demonstrate high efficiency and quality in assignments. Welding skills required.
  3. Perform refrigeration functions including leak testing and repairs.
  4. Effective communication skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  5. Preferred: Experience in manufacturing and refrigeration, including piping, soldering, brazing, and mounting refrigeration components.
  6. Ability to follow procedures and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  7. Familiar with relevant tools.
