The ideal candidate holds a Chemistry-related degree and 2–5+ years of instrumentation experience, is detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating across QA, lab management, and project staff to deliver accurate, regulatory-ready results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• 2–5+ years of experience with GC, GC/MS, and IC instrumentation in an analytical laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with EPA methods, QA/QC protocols, and regulatory testing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive problem-solving.
• Knowledge of LIMS systems and EDD formats is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process samples following EPA and NELAC methods.
• Maintain calibration curves, validate methods, and ensure data accuracy.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our team at our Nederland, Texas location. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC), Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS), and Ion Chromatography (IC for anions).
