This role will support production, development/prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing / production environment.

*This is a 3rd shift position and an onsite role in McKinney, Texas.*

What You Will Do

  • Duties may include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • May set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments. May route, dispatch and expedite flow of material.

  • Checks for work correctness. Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies.

  • Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torqueing using hand instruments.

  • All work is performed in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.

  • Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals.

  • Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, demonstrated process.

  • Perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.

  • Develop more than one job at a time and have the flexibility to work across shifts.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience

  • Experience in performing product assemblies by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and/or other related documentation under limited supervision.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail

  • Basic computer and math skills.

  • Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, torque tools and analyzers, etc.

  • Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools

  • Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
