Role Overview

This position supports production, development, and prototype assemblies at the McKinney, TX site within the Advanced Product Center. It involves performing various tasks in a manufacturing environment. This is a 2nd shift, onsite role.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, disassemble, re-assemble, fabricate, repair, and inspect electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Set up and operate machinery and hand tools, manage material flow.
  • Check work for accuracy, prepare materials, and assemble/rework electronic and mechanical components.
  • Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing.
  • Follow written instructions to meet standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, conduct in-process inspections, and develop multiple jobs with shift flexibility.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with product assembly using procedures, schematics, and drawings.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Experience with hand tools and manufacturing databases (VM, CMES, SAP).
  • Technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection in manufacturing or aerospace environments.
