Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Skokie, IL, is seeking an on-site Manufacturing Assembler to join our team. You will safely perform assembly operations, operate manufacturing equipment per SOPs, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

The role requires reading procedures and routers, following quality standards, and adapting to shift work with overtime. Training is provided; previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction.
• Flexibility in work assignments.

Physical Requirements:

• ' Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
• ' Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
• ' Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• ' Must be able to work daily, weekly overtime and weekend as required

Salary:

• ' Pay starts at $19.00 plus shift premium totaling $21.50
• ' Eligible for annual bonuses
