Job description

NETZSCH Pumps USA is seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined individual for the role of Production Assembler at their Exton facility, working 2nd shift. The main responsibilities include assembling machines, equipment, and subassemblies, as well as building baseplates, structures, or guards according to blueprints and written/verbal specifications.

Job Description

The Assembler will be responsible for:

• Planning pump assembly procedures, following specifications, SOPs, and testing components for free movement.
• Fabricating metal structures, baseplates, and guards through sawing, cutting, welding, and grinding.
• Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment safely.
• Drilling, tapping, reaming holes, and aligning components for assembly.
• Aligning gears, drive couplings, and sub-assemblies to close tolerances.
• Assisting in other shop areas as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar field. Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn are essential. Additional requirements include:

• Proficiency with various machines and hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Welding and machining experience is a plus.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently.
• Problem-solving skills and common sense application.
