Job summary

Donaldson Company in Town of Waterloo, NY is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Associate focused on light assembly. Candidates will read simple work instructions, follow safety rules, and contribute to a team that emphasizes quality and efficiency.

You will rotate between tasks, maintain attendance and punctuality, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while complying with EHS policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• A minimum of one (1) year of light assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Perform a variety of tasks safely though the day

Responsibilities

• Understand basic math, read and follow applicable work instructions
• Work (both sitting and standing for periods of time) in a standard rotation
• Complete work with quality in mind, minimum errors, rework, and waste
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to detect non-conforming product
• Record data in a timely and accurate manner
• Work efficiently and at a rate consistent with the rotations and goals set for the area
• Provide support or back-up duties in other work areas when requested
• Assist in training of others, as requested
• Actively support the site's Continuous Improvement programs
• Adhere to all EHS policies and procedures, wear proper PPE
• Participate in safety activities when requested and report injury or illness promptly
• Follow ergonomic principles in setting up workstation and chair height, positioning parts, job rotation, and participating in the scheduled stretching periods
• Follow all company policies, specifically those relating to attendance and general behavior

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity is required to handle small parts
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and sit for periods of time
• The ability to handle daily repetitive work using hands and fingers
