Job summary

WFA Staffing Group is seeking dependable production assemblers for a family-run facility in Brown Deer, WI. This full-time role covers 1st and 2nd shifts (6:00 am–2:30 pm and 2:30 pm–10:00 pm) with assembly of engineered-to-order products.

You will test finished goods, perform light maintenance, participate in 5S/Lean initiatives, and collaborate with team leaders to ensure quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Assembles custom orders according to engineered-to-order standards and documentation.
• Tests finished products to verify quality.
• Performs basic maintenance and participates in line changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Assembles custom orders according to engineered-to-order standards and documentation.
• Programs and tests finished products.
• Packs products for shipment and handles containers with protective padding.
• Participates in cell changeovers and lean/5S initiatives.
• Shares improvement ideas in group meetings and with management.
• Communicates with Cell/Team Leader, Planner, and Management as required.

Full time 1st and 2nd shift production assembly positions open for this family run manufacturing facility in Brown Deer, WI

1st shift 6am-2:30pm, 2nd shift is 2:30pm-10pm

Position Qualifications:

• Assembles custom orders according to engineered-to-order standards and documentation
• Programs and tests finished products
• Pack products into wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers using protective padding.
• Participates in cell changeovers from part to part
• Performs minor maintenance
• Solves routine problems
• Learns Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles and practice them on a daily basis
• Conducts regular 5S audits and quality audits and checks
• Shares and supports ideas for improvement in group meetings
• Participates in group and individual improvement activities with team members, engineering, and management
• Helps implement and support improvement ideas
• Communicate with the Cell/Team Leader, Planner, and Management as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
