REQ Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a Production Assembler for a 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday shift in the United States (California). The role involves hands-on assembly, reading blueprints and routings, and performing quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

The candidate should have 2-3 years of assembly or fabrication experience, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and strong attention to safety and detail. MSDS handling and teamwork are expected.

• Identify defects and escalate as needed.

Job Description:

• The Production Assembler is responsible for performing hands on assembly work, following detailed instructions to build products that typically include reading and understanding blueprints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications.
• Performing quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards of the assemblies produced.

Responsibilities:

• Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
• Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
• Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
• Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.
• Utilize hand tools such as an automatic wire stripper, handheld screwdriver, and/ordrill guns
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and report it
• Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards as required
• Maintain accurate and timely data
• Report any safety problems, hazards, accidents and near misses to management
• Properly use safety equipment, including machine guarding, interlocks and safety curtains are working properly or report it
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues
• Meet standards and tolerances
• Other job tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in assembly or fabrication
• Thermoforming experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together accurately
• Understanding MSDS and handling of hazardous materials
• Work alone or in a team environment
• Regular good attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop or bend, reach above shoulders up to 25% of time
• Able to work over time as needed
• Education - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
