Job Title: Production Assembler

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $17.00/hr

Location: Neosho, MO



Position Overview



Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dedicated Production Assembler for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a clean background, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and demonstrate a strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with solid mechanical knowledge and prior assembly experience, preferably in furniture or cabinet manufacturing. A stable work history and proven experience in assembly processes are required.



Key Responsibilities



  1. Assemble products according to specifications and detailed work instructions.
  2. Efficiently use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
  3. Operate machinery on the assembly line while following safety protocols.
  4. Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet established standards.
  5. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and production efficiency.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Assist in training new employees on assembly techniques and safety practices.
  8. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary.


Requirements



  1. Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is required.
  2. Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with blueprints and technical documents.
    2. Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills) for assembly tasks.
    3. Ability to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear.
    4. Experience in manually packaging ready-to-assemble products and stacking items up to five feet high.
    5. Skilled in quality assurance, ensuring defect-free products that are correctly packed and stacked on pallets.
  4. Physical Requirements:
    1. Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, stoop, crouch, reach, and extend arms, wrists, and fingers constantly.
    2. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for 10+ hours per day.
    3. Experience using manual pallet jacks and assembly equipment.
  5. Work Environment:
    1. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced assembly line environment.
    2. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing production needs and schedules.
