Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Berea, OH is seeking an on-site assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will perform a variety of assembly tasks following SOPs, while keeping a clean and organized work area and supporting line setups.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and a willingness to learn new skills. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production needs.

• Ability to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply).

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

• Perform other duties that may be assigned

• Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspecting parts, components and subassemblies
• Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
• Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
• Perform other duties that may be assigned

• Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
• Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
• Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work daily, weekly overtime and weekend as required
