Job summary

Exalt Printing Solutions is seeking a Production Artist to join our Carrollton, TX team. You’ll translate client files into polished, on-brand layouts, fix formatting issues, and ensure accuracy before prepress.

You’ll also build and maintain templates for storefronts and catalogs, keeping workflow efficient and error-free. You should have strong layout and copyediting instincts, expert use of InDesign, and a strict eye for brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong layout and copyediting instincts; you can make messy text read clean and intentional.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign focus) and related tools.
• Able to follow client brand guidelines to the letter, even under pressure.
• Comfort managing multiple projects and file versions without losing track.

Responsibilities

• Take client-submitted files and clean them up, edit them, or rebuild the layout so they’re production-ready.
• Lay out and edit text-heavy documents such as patient guides, HR forms, training manuals, and catalogs for clarity and consistency.
• Match client design/brand standards so materials look cohesive across sources.
• Build and maintain templates within storefront catalogs for consistent, on-brand ordering.
• Handoff completed layouts to prepress with minimal back-and-forth on first pass.
