Location: Geist area (near Fall Creek & 79th); partial remote flexibility
Employment Type: Full-time (35–40 hours per week)

The Birdmoss Box is an immersive fairy tale subscription experience. Each month, subscribers receive a box filled with stories, handcrafted treasures, and curiosities inspired by folklore and nature. We’re looking for someone who shares our sense of wonder and wants to help bring the world of Birdmoss to life through exceptional organization, project management, and communication.

About the Role

The Production and Logistics Coordinator supports the daily operations of Birdmoss by keeping projects, products, and communications running smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone who:

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production
  • Work quickly and accurately
  • Follow and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency and efficiency
  • Assemble, package, and label products and monthly subscription boxes
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders
  • Check in and organize deliveries of supplies and components
  • Maintain accurate inventory and reorder materials as needed
  • Keep the workspace tidy and organized
Coordination & Communication
  • Liaise with artisans, vendors, and independent contractors with professionalism and kindness
  • Ensure all participants support the needs of the business
  • Prepare projects for outsourcing and manage timelines, revisions, and deliverables
  • Support the Creative Director with administrative tasks
Customer Experience & Content
  • Assist with customer communications via email, text, and phone as needed
  • Support creation of product photos, website updates, print collateral, email campaigns, and marketing materials
Other
  • Participate in continuous learning and process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work quickly, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools such as Canva, Shopify, and Klaviyo
  • Ability to accurately count and record inventory, calculate quantities, and compile budgets; understanding of arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; understanding of basic weights and measures
  • Ability to perform fine motor tasks, stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 lbs
  • Flexibility, patience, and sense of humor in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
Work Environment & Compensation
  • Starting pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
  • Schedule: Full-time, 35–40 hours per week, with some flexibility
  • Location: Primarily onsite in our cat-friendly studio near Fall Creek & 79th (Geist area); limited remote work may be available
