  • Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating.
  • 1+ years of experience in Inventory Management.

Production and Inventory Coordinator
Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator to join BSC Flightline 1st Shift Fulfillment Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable shift.

Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Operates and moves large equipment. Required to work outdoors during all seasons. Works under general supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing

  • Able to work 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently

  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating

  • 1+ years of experience in Inventory Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience working in CMES systems/BESSY/Crib Masters/KITS

  • 1+ years of experience with the ERPLN application

  • 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles

  • 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift

  • 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving

  • 1+ years of experience working in cold room

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until a re-evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift.

Summary Pay Range: Level B $48,000 - $57,000
