The University Record at the University of Michigan is seeking a Production and Digital Content Specialist to lead the production of the printed edition, publish stories and artwork on the website, and craft engaging social media graphics. You will edit copy for multiple platforms and help assemble the email newsletter.

The University Record's website, email, and social media are its primary channels for readership, alongside the printed edition. This position is the Record's main production role, responsible for producing the printed edition, publishing stories and artwork on the website, creating social media graphics, and helping compile the email newsletter. The role requires basic editing skills and working directly with copy to prepare it for multiple platforms.

The position will be primarily on-site in Ann Arbor with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule in accordance with operational needs.
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. The salary range for the lower classification (Communications Production Associate-104028) is $50,000 - $55,000.
