Position Overview: Abbey Glass, a high-growth fashion brand based in Atlanta, is seeking a Design and Production Coordinator to join our creative team. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for executing key components of our collection development process and managing critical production workflows. You will play an integral role in fashion production, financial tracking, and ensuring success across all sales channels while contributing to our brand's continued growth.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

  • Support design research initiatives, create comprehensive mood boards, and support concept development for seasonal collections
  • Manage and execute sample tracking systems and coordinate shipping logistics with vendors and factories
  • Oversee detailed spreadsheet management for all factory shipments and proactively communicate with cross-functional teams regarding incoming products, timelines, and tracking information
  • Own QuickBooks online finance tracking system, managing all factory payments, refunds, and financial reconciliation processes

Production & Quality Management:

  • Lead quality control processes and manage inventory systems to ensure product standards and availability
  • Attend and take notes in fittings, document feedback, and communicate detailed notes and requirements to sample makers and production teams
  • Organize and maintain design studio operations and comprehensive material library systems
  • Coordinate preparation and execution for market appointments, fashion shows, and brand presentations

Strategic Support:

  • Support in brand strategy meetings and contribute insights on production capabilities and constraints
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to align production timelines with market demands
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that drive business growth and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in fashion production, design, or merchandising roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva
  • Demonstrated experience with financial tracking systems (QuickBooks experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/spreadsheet management capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working with overseas manufacturers and production timelines
  • Knowledge of fashion industry supply chain and production processes
  • Previous experience in startup or emerging brand environments
