Job summary

FieldAI's Irvine team builds production AI solutions for robotics, combining embodied intelligence with real hardware and field deployments. As an AI Solution Engineer, you will work with strategic customers to ship end-to-end AI features, translate requirements into repeatable capabilities, and collaborate with Product, Research, and Engineering to deliver high-impact solutions.

Travel to customer sites is expected (~10%), and you will own outcomes from prototype to production in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, AI, or related field.
• Strong Python and production-grade software experience.
• Experience with agentic systems and workflow orchestration.
• Hands-on experience building production LLM applications.
• Experience with customer discovery and translating requirements into solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production AI features delivering measurable value.
• Work with customer teams to understand workflows and success criteria.
