Job summary

Kharon seeks a Denver-based AI Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role requiring in-office attendance at least 3 days a week. You will design and ship proof-of-concept AI applications, build AI components, and partner with product, design, and data science to deliver production-grade AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of software engineering or machine learning experience, focused on applied AI.
• Strong Python development with Langchain/Langgraph and related libraries.
• Experience with tracing systems, RAG, memory, MCP servers, and Agent skills.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment (Docker, AWS, CI/CD).
• Proven ability to ship production-grade ML/AI systems in fast iterations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship proof-of-concept AI applications in fast cycles.
• Build AI components including Model Context Protocol clients/servers and multi-agent frameworks.
• Take features from idea to production with data flows, containerization, and AWS deployment.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and data science to translate problems into scalable AI systems.
• Develop production-grade data pipelines and internal tools to speed up development and CI/CD.
• Ensure AI systems are monitored, explainable, and compliant with ethics/regulations.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and share best practices.
