Qualifications

• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade autonomous agents.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Production RAG experience using vector search and vector databases (e.g., pgvector, Azure OpenAI Search, Databricks Vector Search).
• Strong Python skills and hands-on integration with LLM APIs.
• Solid system design fundamentals for scalable, reliable services and API boundaries.
• Ability to build or extend tool and data connectors for LLM apps.
• Experience deploying and operating apps on a managed cloud platform.
• Knowledge of AI governance, model lifecycle practices, and evaluation methodology.
• Stakeholder and discovery skills to scope ambiguity with non-technical owners.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into technical roadmaps, considering data access, compliance, latency, and cost.
• Design and build production agentic systems for planning, tool-calling, multi-step reasoning, memory, and error recovery.
• Implement production RAG pipelines with chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, and retrieval-quality evaluation.
• Build and extend connectors for secure access to enterprise tools and data.
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Create evaluation suites, tracing, and rollback paths for reliable production behavior.
• Monitor and improve deployments using evaluation metrics.
• Define architecture, data flows, and integration boundaries for scalability and cost.
• Codify repeatable patterns into reusable components and reference architectures.
• Collaborate with non-technical business owners to align workflows with evolving AI capabilities.
