Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. in Livonia, MI is seeking a production line lead to drive the shift to meet goals, maintain quality, and coordinate changeovers with line leads.

You will oversee NAV input/output, verify POs, country of origin, date and size/count, and ensure labels and pallet tags are prepared with supervisor sign-off. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and solid organizational and problem-solving skills in a refrigerated warehouse

Sunday - Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 5:00AM - 5:00PM

Primary Function:

The essential function of this position is to lead a production line to attain the goals set forth for the shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate issues to supervisor and area manager.
• Input and output product in NAV.
• Order and pick up labels from label room, take to supervisor for sign off.
• Clear old labels off line.
• Print pallet tags, take to supervisor for sign off.
• Verify incoming PO, country of origin, date, size/count.
• Complete required forms (grade out forms, etc.).
• Work with line leads to coordinate changeovers.
• Communicate with hi-lo driver.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer and data entry experience preferred.

• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts.

• Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
• Capable of lifting at least 10 lbs.
