Employees rotate between pack-out line positions. Work on 1st shift 7:00am–4:00pm or 2nd shift 3:30pm–1:30am with a 45-minute lunch; fast-paced environment, PPE required, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, good communication skills, availability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
• Prior experience in a food processing, production, or packing environment (not required, but a plus). Familiar with Safety and Food Safety protocols.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pack Out / Line Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, grading, and removing chicken pieces that do not meet quality standards after being cooked. You will also verify that packaging is properly sealed and assist with forming boxes for finished products, ensuring only approved items move forward in the production process. Employees typically rotate between similar positions on the pack-out line.

Work Environment

The pack out/ line worker job is a fast-paced setting that requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks daily. Interaction with employees and management for coordination of production needs, including working in a cold environment (40F – 45F), being exposed to moderate noise levels, and always wearing PPE while handling product or materials, to follow the company’s Safety and Food Safety Polices.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to stand for extended periods (8+ hours/day), walk, and use stairs. Use their hands for tasks, reach with their arms, and communicate verbally. The ability to lift or move objects up to 45 lbs. is necessary, along with performing repetitive physical tasks, including bending and lifting, for long periods. Close distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
