Qualifications

• Product expertise, including experience as a product specialist or product-focused designer, with the ability to align UI/UX decisions to business and user goals.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret user data, usability test results, and market insights to inform design decisions and product improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting design rationale, and documenting interaction patterns.
• Customer service orientation and user empathy, ensuring designs address user needs, reduce friction, and build trust in financial decision‑making.
• Sales and growth mindset, with the ability to design flows that support conversion, retention, and partner engagement without compromising user experience.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with design systems, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience designing consumer‑facing products, ideally in fintech or financial services, with a portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end UX work and visual design craft.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; ability to work on‑site in the New York City Metropolitan Area
