Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Product / Textile Designer for Bath in New York, NY. This hands-on role covers concept to production across licensed and private-label brands in bath and soft home categories.

You will design seasonal collections, create CADs and patterns, and develop trims and construction details while coordinating with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of experience in product design, textile design, or related field.
• Experience with bath or soft home goods is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre.
• Experience creating production-ready artwork and repeat patterns.
• Strong knowledge of textiles and soft-goods construction.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to own multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and assortments for bath and other soft home products.

The Opportunity

A leading home fashions company is seeking a Product / Textile Designer to support a variety of licensed and private-label brands across bath and other soft home categories. This is a hands‑on design position that combines creative development with technical execution throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept through production.

The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with a solid understanding of soft home product design, development, and manufacturing. This person should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and assortments for bath and other soft home products
• Create CADs, repeat patterns, engineered placements, and colorways
• Develop trims, textures, embellishments, and product construction details
• Prepare production‑ready artwork and detailed tech packs for factories
• Review samples, strike‑offs, and lab dips and manage revisions and approvals
• Collaborate closely with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams
• Oversee multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
