The Opportunity

To collaborate with and learn from a team of testers to ensure our desktop, mobile, and web software products performance meets the high standards our customers expect. After gaining an in-depth knowledge of our products, you will work closely with our engineering teams to verify the functionality and performance of software products prior to public release. From being a team tester to helping with release regression testing, your work will have a direct impact on the quality of our software products being used by farmers and their trusted advisors around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute software tests, manual and automated
  • Perform comprehensive testing to verify products meet customer expectations and provide a positive user experience
  • Report, document, and track defects and issues throughout the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with other teams/departments to coordinate and execute testing for software in support of hardware products and the data they collect
  • Provide input on additions or enhancements to product functionality
  • Identify testing initiatives that contribute to the future success of our team
  • Be a product technical expert, with the ability to assist in advanced troubleshooting
Qualifications/Skills
  • Degree in Agriculture, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar program
  • Experience with or willingness to learn how to script/code automated tests
  • Strong desire for continuous learning
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with or desire to learn about general farming practices in production agriculture
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently solve problems in a fast-paced environment
