TE Connectivity is seeking a Product Engineer to optimize and maintain existing products based on inputs from various teams. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in product testing and be capable of interpreting industrial standards while meeting demanding customer deadlines.

TE Connectivity’s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE. This position requires the applicant to be well organized and self-motivated while working under minimum supervision. The applicant should be mechanically and electrically knowledgeable. The applicant must have a common knowledge of series and parallel circuits. Experience with hand soldering and general hand tools is helpful. Applicants must have problem solving and critical thinking skills while working under demanding customer deadlines.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $49,700 – 74,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
