Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Milpitas, CA invites a Product/Test Engineering Student Co-Op for Jan–June 2027. You will support cutting-edge optoelectronics products, set up automated test equipment, perform tests, and help release essential technical documentation.

The role requires working toward a technical BS degree with interest in semiconductor testing, electronics, and manufacturing. Part-time schedule and hands-on collaboration with engineers are provided.

Qualifications

Pursuing a technical BS degree (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics).
Basic understanding of electronic BJT circuits, diodes and transistors.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Interest in learning to work with manufacturing/test equipment such as curve tracers, DMMs, scopes and production testers.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on device test and characterization.
Set up and perform testing on production and bench test equipment.
Summarize and analyze test data and participate in next steps.
Generate and release optoelectronics product documentation and information; update as needed.
Participate in production ramp-up.
