Job summary

CSA Group is seeking an experienced Product Test Engineer to support the Energy Efficiency Verification (EEV) Fuel-Burning group in our Cleveland, OH office. You will conduct testing on fuel-burning appliances, manage test setup and data, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet safety and performance standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of related experience (or 2-4 years with Diploma) in HVAC/test environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy efficiency and performance testing of fuel-burning appliances in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation for testing.
• Collect, analyze, and validate test data for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare detailed test plans and test reports within established timelines.
