Job Description: Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a background in CNC Machining Experience, Industrial Distribution, or Supply Chain Experience looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a Product Technical Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the face of our company in your region, driving sales and building lasting relationships with clients.

We are looking for a Product Technical Specialist to service the Southwest Ohio and Kentucky territories. Expectation for this remote position is that the person selected will reside in the Dayton or Cincinnati areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Succeed: Develop and implement winning sales strategies to boost growth in your region.
  • Explore and Expand: Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Connect and Cultivate: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Present and Persuade: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and Close: Skillfully negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Monitor and Adapt: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to seize opportunities.
  • Report and Reflect: Provide insightful sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

  • Sales experience is required / Outside Sales experience is preferred
  • CNC Machining Experience or Industrial Distribution or Supply Chain Experience is required
  • Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record - MVR will be required
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing sales territory
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with key decision makers in client organizations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal are required
  • Self-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization
  • Ability to remain calm & professional under pressure
  • Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office & Teams
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritize as the need arises
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to identify and disseminate sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to learn new tools / products quickly and effectively communicate new tools / products to customers.
  • High school diploma or GED required

Working Conditions:

The Product Technical Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including the following:

  • An office area, with noise from telephones and other office equipment and has climate control.
  • A warehouse area, which may have moderate noise levels and has climate control.
  • A production area, where there may be contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. This area has moderate noise and has climate control.
