Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Product Technology Senior Associate to evaluate software platforms through an integrated commercial, operational, and financial lens. You will analyze architecture, engineering, and cost, supporting diligence engagements for PE and strategic clients.

From day one, you’ll help clients align product strategy with technology roadmaps, tie business outcomes to architecture, and assist in hosting cost and R&D cost analyses. Hybrid work model with in-person days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; CS is a plus.
• 3–6 years in software-related work or technology diligence.
• Experience with SaaS or platform businesses preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture reviews and documentation analysis
• Support codebase and technical debt analysis
• Analyze cloud infrastructure configurations
• Assist in evaluating roadmap feasibility
• Evaluate engineering operating model (team structure, velocity, DevOps)
• PoV on scalability risks, performance bottlenecks, and security considerations
• Support hosting cost, SaaS economics and R&D cost analysis
• Prepare diligence slides, summaries, and deal insights
• Support management Q&A tracking
