Position Title : Product Support Specialist

Location : Northern California, Northern Nevada, Southern Oregon

Reporting to : Regional Product Support Manager

Travel Required : 70%

This position provides a variety of technical operating and service advice to customers using Genie brand diesel, gas, electric, hand operated, and material lifting equipment manufactured by the company. This position is responsible for providing a proficient level of customer support and technical expertise to facilitate service advice, product support, and service training to internal and external customers. This covers the full scope of Genie Aerial Work Platform (AWP) material and lifting equipment manufactured by the company. The selected candidate must reside in one of the specified areas.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Identifies and resolves customer concerns with Genie AWP products.
2. Assists customers with their service training needs and information.
3. Assists engineering as requested with the improvement and development of Genie AWP products.
4. Assists all customers with the safe and proper operation of Genie AWP products.
5. Requires up to 70% travel (fleet vehicle provided) in West Coast Territory (Northern California, Southern Oregon, and Northern Nevada).

Required Qualifications

1. Must be located in one of the states in the territory - Northern California, Southern Oregon or Northern Nevada.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. 3+ years of related experience (field service, operations management, product support, shop floormen, OEM support, technical customer support, or similar).
4. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Valid driving license with clean driving records.
6. Knowledge of construction equipment.

10. Proficient in the use of equipment, tools, and technology needed to troubleshoot and repair AWP products (Computers, hand tools, digital devices).
11. Proficient in and able to demonstrate the proper and safe operation of AWP control systems and products.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $103,000 annual. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
