Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Summary:

Responsible for providing high quality support both internally within American State Equipment and for our customers. This role drives consistent after sales support to our customers as well as parts and labor sales for our product support department.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales of OEM and aftermarket parts and service.
  • Work in territory and provide growth in sales in those areas.
  • Position American State Equipment as the preferred choice for customers through competitive analysis and awareness of market trends.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships by providing support, information, and guidance to ensure industry leading customer experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with the parts, sales, and service departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues.


Standards of Performance:

  • Achieve growth in overall customer support business and ensure accuracy in quotes, agreements, and contracts.
  • Renew existing customer support agreements.
  • Promptly report and document any equipment operation or support issues to the relevant customer service contact or Product Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education/Experience:

  • Technical, vocational, trade school education or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the equipment or related industry with direct product support and sales experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong sales drive.
  • Ability to think strategically, make decisions, develop relationships, handle conflict, negotiate, present ideas, use resources effectively, and display customer service aptitude.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills to independently handle diverse business needs.
  • Effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and ability to procure cooperation of team members.
  • Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of position and with internal and external customers and employees.
  • Computer programs: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and equipment manufacturing technical software.


Travel

  • Local: Daily. Overnight: occasional/as required.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


Compensation

  • $50,000 - $60,000/year + Commission
