Job summary

TRUMPF North America in Farmington, CT is seeking a hands-on Mobile Service Technician to support customers with high-quality technical assistance and rapid issue resolution. You will troubleshoot electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics, documenting machine status and suggesting improvements.

You'll collaborate with applications, sales, engineering and production to deliver excellent service, maintain device performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on problem solver with strong electronics/digital circuits and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in wiring and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Clear communication and customer-service mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Document customer machine information and technical conditions; suggest improvements.

Your new role

• Provide high-quality technical assistance via phone to customers and Field Service Engineers to ensure optimal sheet metal equipment performance
• Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions
• Work within a cross functional team that includes applications, sales, engineering, or production for excellent customer service
