Mission / Purpose Of The Job

This role supports sales products through technical expertise in the Americas, serving as a resource for product selection, configuration, and application suitability, and developing strong relationships with sales and technical teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support product installations, startup, and qualifications at customer sites.
  • Train customers and sales channels on product applications.
  • Provide technical support and consulting for product questions.
  • Recommend vacuum equipment for applications.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations.
  • Perform vacuum and related calculations using appropriate tools.
  • Develop application knowledge and contribute to the Knowledge Warehouse.
  • Support regional marketing and manage customer complaints and warranty claims.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Exposed to mechanical parts, outdoor weather, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally to heights, chemicals, electrical risks, and vibration. The environment is often loud. Requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, typing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent computer use. Travel up to 50%, including overnight stays. Position is remote with occasional lab / office days.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • B.S. in a technical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years in technical product support or field service in vacuum industry.
  • Excellent communication, MS Office skills, customer focus, critical thinking, attention to detail, team adaptability, and self-motivation.

  • Strong application experience with MS Office.

Compensation

Starting salary varies by location, typically $69,547 - $90,006 in Colorado. Salary depends on qualifications.
