Job summary

Caterpillar offers a unique 12-week Product Support Engineering internship for students and graduates. You will gain hands-on technical training, collaborate with product development, dealer management and sales teams, and rotate through assignments across Caterpillar.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in engineering/related fields, have completed 12 credits, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8. Relocation and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year university/college in related degree program.
• Must have completed 12 credit hours prior to start of program.
• GPA requirement of 2.8/4.0 or higher (no rounding).
• Must relocate to internship location for duration and commute reliably.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar, its products, services and customers.
• Grow through soft skills development and hands-on technical training.
• Collaborate with experts in product development, dealer management, marketing and sales.
• Work in rotational assignments across Caterpillar to learn strategy, services and products.
• Manage assigned territory and serve as a link between dealers and Caterpillar.
