Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Product Options Architecture engineer to ensure BOM supports all POA options and to drive accurate configuration through MRP. You will collaborate with product, project, and design teams to implement changes and validate configurations prior to customer release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or 3 years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interact and coordinate across diverse functions and organizational levels.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of BOM structures and the engineering change process.
• Experience with MRP systems and Windows/Microsoft 365 tools.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the BOM supports all POA options, mapping POA options to BOM items.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and Design Engineers to modify options and milestones.
• Review ECOs for accuracy, set effectivity dates, and implement changes in POA.
• Ensure modeling and programming align with documented requests.
• Validate BOM accuracy across configurations before customer release.
• Work with partners to correct errors, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead CIP initiatives to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide training to new partners on POA processes and roles.
