Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internship in investment management or alternatives preferred.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative, and analytical abilities with a detail-oriented skill set.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg preferred.
• Interest in using AI tools to solve problems and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build deep command of PIMCO's investment process, portfolio positioning, and market outlook.
• Represent the investment team internally to Account Managers and Client Management on assigned strategies.
• Own a consistent suite of product and client-services materials and seek feedback for quality and relevance.
• Develop understanding of business, stakeholder and client needs and articulate value and product intent to leadership.
• Track the competition and bring a point of view on platform growth.
• Apply and help develop AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality of workflows.
• Construct attribution, performance, and risk reporting for portfolios.
