Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Product Strategy Consultant to advise clients on transforming products and experiences with a human-centered, data-informed, AI-enabled approach. The role combines strategy, research, revenue analytics, and service design across product, marketing, sales, service, and technology.

You'll lead workshops, shape roadmaps, and collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and executives. The position requires US work authorization and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product strategy or management consulting — at a management consulting firm, digital agency, product shop, or full-service creative agency.
• Experience collaborating on complex workstreams across disciplines.
• Comfort experimenting with AI flows and prototyping tools to enhance strategy development.
• Authorized to work in the US without restriction.
• Located near New York, NY.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.

You connect the dots between what customers need and what businesses can deliver — and you make it realwith product. As aProductStrategy Consultant at Slalom,you'lladvise clients on how to transform their products andproductexperiences in ways that are human-centered, data-informed,AI-enabled,and built to last.

This isn't surface -level strategy work. You'll dig into research and insights, revenue analytics, experience strategy, and service design to shape solutions that move businesses forward — across product, marketing, sales, service, and technology.

• Experience working across disciplines — collaborating with designers, technologists, data scientists, and business leaders
• Comfort experimenting with agentic AI flows and prototyping tools to enhance strategy development
• Knowledge of Forward Deployed Engineering methodology
• Strong written and verbal communication — you know how to tell a story and tailor it to your audience
• Executive presence with genuine relationship-building instincts
• Authorized to work in the US without restriction
• Located near New York, NY
• Ability to travel 50% of the time

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:

Consultant located in (Atlanta, Charlotte, Hartford, Miami, Philadelphia, & White Plains) the pay range is: $79,000 to $109,000.

Consultant located in (Boston, New York City, New Jersey, and Washington) the Pay range is: $86,000-$119,000

Senior Consultant l located in (Atlanta, Charlotte, Hartford, Miami, Philadelphia, & White Plains) the pay range is: $103,000 to $142,000

Senior Consultant located in (Boston, New York City, New Jersey, and Washington) the Pay range is: $112,000-$155,000

In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
