Job description

Menē Inc. (TSX-V: MENE | US: MENEF) crafts pure 24 karat gold and pure platinum jewelry, transparently sold by gram weight. Through Menē.com, customers can buy jewelry, monitor the value of their collection in real time, and sell or exchange pieces at prevailing market prices.

Founded by Roy Sebag and Diana Widmaier Picasso, Menē’s mission is to restore the relationship between jewelry and savings — marrying innovative technology, timeless design, and pure precious metals to create wearable wealth.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Product Specialist to serve as the central authority on our physical product assortment. This role sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, inventory, e-commerce, and customer experience, reporting to the Head of Operations.

At its core, this role requires becoming the company’s primary product authority, with deep knowledge of how each piece is designed, produced, stocked, and supported after it reaches the customer. The right candidate will be equally comfortable evaluating a prototype, resolving a specification issue, reviewing inventory levels, updating Shopify product data, training internal teams, and engaging directly with customers to resolve product-related concerns.

This is an in person position at our manufacturing facility in Northern New Jersey.

Core Responsibilities

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

  • Guide product development from concept through launch
  • Work with design and manufacturing to meet quality and cost standards
  • Maintain detailed product specifications, samples, and development records
  • Support pricing strategy discussions based on cost structure
  • Analyze product performance data to guide optimization, product refreshes, and discontinuation decisions
  • Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities for new product development

Product Data & Systems Management

  • Own product data across Shopify and related systems
  • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and completeness of product information across all platforms
  • Maintain structured product records, including variants, attributes, and lifecycle status

Inventory & Merchandising Operations

  • Track inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment needs
  • Partner with production to ensure timely restocking and allocation
  • Flag risks related to overstock, stockouts, and slow-moving SKUs

Customer Care

  • Serve as the internal product authority for the Customer Care team
  • Train internal teams on product details, sizing, and care instructions
  • Support Customer Care with product-related questions and requests
  • Serve as the highest-level escalation point for product-related customer issues

Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of experience in physical product management, product development, merchandising, or production
  • Experience in jewelry, accessories, luxury goods, fashion, or another detail-intensive consumer product category strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of product development, inventory management, specifications, and quality standards
  • Experience with Shopify or a comparable e-commerce platform
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with ability to take projects from concept through production, launch, and post-launch iteration
  • Proactively identifies and communicates risks or issues
  • Comfortable working hands-on with physical products
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Jewelry manufacturing or technical product knowledge is a strong advantage

Compensation

This role offers a salary in the range of $55,000 - $75,000 USD. Paid time off is provided, and additional benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
