ComplyAuto began as a privacy compliance company for automotive dealers, but has quickly expanded into other verticals and compliance areas including cybersecurity, EHS (environmental, health, and safety), and legal compliance.

Compensation: Base Compensation of $75,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience plus commissions. Typical on-target earnings of $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Identify and engage with potential clients through telephone, email, video calling, and in person to sell Saas to automotive dealerships. Responsible to accurately and thoroughly describe and demo Company products/services, overcome buyers obstacles and successfully close deals. Maintain strong lasting client relationships and upsell existing clients on new products. Success in the role is based on closed deals and annual recurring revenue (ARR). This role requires a deep understanding of products/services, understanding of the changing industry needs, and navigating technical aspects of our products with clients. Work is closely managed for results by the VP of Sales.

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to penetrate the market and increase market share.
  • Drive pipeline growth through targeted prospecting strategies including cold calling, emailing, and in person visits.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads, gather essential information, and document prospects' interests or objections accurately
  • Create and send compelling emails to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of using ComplyAuto products and services.
  • Accurately and thoroughly describe and demo Company products, features and benefits both in person and through video calling, overcome buyers obstacles and successfully close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through active communication and follow-up.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly key performance indicator (KPI) targets and demo counts to ensure close deals and ARR targets are met.
  • Effectively handle rejection professionally and persist in pursuing leads.
  • Accurately enter all activities into Hubspot including but not limited to prospecting activity, demo activities, call outcomes, client information, and sales data, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, dealership needs, and how ComplyAuto's offerings can solve dealer pain points to tailor your pitch effectively.

Associate degree in business or related field; and 4-6 years of full cycle sales experience selling technical products; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge of automotive dealership required
  • Deep knowledge of Finance & Insurance regulations or Service compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with SaaS or technology related sales and pricing modeling preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively and persuasively communicate over the phone, in person, and in writing to sell products.
  • Excellent listening skills, and ability to understand the customer's persistent or recurring problems and effectively communicate how our products and services can address their problems.
  • Must possess strong negotiating skills, ability to overcome objections and engage in various selling strategies to close deals to ensure required sales goals are met and maintained.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and successfully interact with a variety of stakeholders and people at all management and support levels, within and outside the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight stays to client locations, industry and company events.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and clients needs
  • Ability to meet regular attendance expectations and meet tight deliverables deadlines.
  • Strong working experience with customer relationship management(CRM) tools required.
  • Proven ability to consistently perform duties with integrity, effectiveness, efficiency, and at the highest level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently remotely.
  • Documented success, i.e. President's Award or similar preferred
  • Experience with Macbook and Google Suite including Google Sheets preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
