Job summary

The Kurt J Lesker Company in Jefferson Hills, PA is seeking a Product Specialist to join the Vacuum Mart Division. You will support the sales team and customers by combining deep product knowledge with a consultative approach to multi-product solutions.

Reporting to the Business Segment Manager, you will develop expert knowledge of product lines, provide technical support to customers and suppliers, and collaborate with Product Managers on quality, development, and ERP data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of assigned product lines and their applications.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and directly engage with customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on quality issues, product development, marketing content, and ERP data.
• Train and motivate the sales force on product features, benefits, and applications.
• Work cross-functionally with departments like Engineering, Marketing, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
• Assist in identifying new applications and market opportunities.
