We are seeking a skilled Sales and Engineering Coordinator to serve as the vital connection between our sales and engineering teams. This role is responsible for effectively communicating new product requirements from the sales department to the manufacturing team, ensuring accuracy and feasibility in product designs, and preparing detailed product lists for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, technical, and communication skills to drive product development and client satisfaction.
Key Duties
Act as the primary contact between the sales and engineering departments to facilitate smooth communication of new product requirements.
Collect and convey product specifications from sales representatives to the engineering and manufacturer, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Get quote from the manufacturer and send the quoting information to related department with a timely manner.
Collaborate with engineers to review and confirm product designs, drawings, and drafts, ensuring they align with client and sales expectations.
Track project progress, maintain timelines, and provide updates to relevant departments to ensure timely completion of product development and delivery.
Ensure all technical documents, drawings, and lists are checked for accuracy and completeness before sharing with clients or manufacturing.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for product promotion and market penetration.
Maintain accurate and organized records of product requirements, design changes, and communication between departments.
Conduct research to existing products or potential product developments that align with the clients' needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Technical background preferred.
Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings and technical documents. Familiarity with SolidWorks and product lifecycle management tools is a plus.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales successfully.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
